It features side impact protection to keep your baby safe, whilst padding cushions your baby from head to toe, plus with three fitting options (on its own, with the Surefix Adjustable Base, or ISOFIX base) it will fit around your lifestyle. The Primo IP- Has luxury deep inside impact protection wings, and one handed harness height adjustment.
The Prmo ES- Has built in side impact protection, and manual harness height adjustment.
Both will on the Mamas and Papas Skoot.

Does a Primo Viaggio sip fit an isofix base?
Was given an Primo Viaggio sip car seat with a Pilko pramette P3 from a friend and thought we would upgrade to an isofix because it had no base. Have bought the isofix base but the seat does not seem to fit. It is very close but has 2 small locating pins in the base which does not seem to allow seat to push home properly, The seat does seem to have a couple of holes for the location pins but these have a blanking plate over them.
Any help would be very appreciated,

Hi there,
Thanks for your query.
If the car seat will not fit with the seat belt, and the 2nd car does not have ISOFIX, the only other way to fit this is with the Surefix base.
The base only uses a fraction of the seat belt that the car seat would, plus it also makes it easier to fit the car seat (using click and go motion).

No, the switch pushchair can only use the car seat on the chassis. The Pliko Pramette can use the car seat on the seat unit.

Is the new Primo Viaggio car seat compatible with the old Luna (purchased 2008)? If not, what is?
We have an old Luna buggy which we used with our original Primo Viaggio carseat and base, all of which were purchased in 2008. We need to replace the car seat and base for our third baby as they have passed the 5 year expiry point. Will the new car seat fit the old adaptors?

Hi there,
Thanks for your question. There has been no change in the design of the Primo Viaggio since 2008, so we would expect a new seat to be compatible with 2008 adaptors. However, we recommend that you take the adaptors and Luna into store to test with the car seat if you want to be certain that they will fit!

hi i have this carseat and pram. the skate comes with adapters that fit the primo viaggio carseat so once the adapters are clipped on the carseat simply attaches to them

hi not very much both are as safe and both offer comfort ,its really a matter of choice,however the aton is lighter which is always a bonus as however small a baby may be carrying a carseat always feels heavy
